Developing Trees by Kelly Joy
Three pieces represent my evolution in art. This second piece of art is when I started to explore my love of trees and how I can evoke a certain feel from the colors I choose to paint them. Like a lot of my art, it is taken from real life and then painted to how my heart feels they should be, it creates a sense of the magical, as they are unrealistic in how I portray them.
My art enables me to flow on to paper the magic in my heart and colors in my head, releasing a sense of tranquility and calm in a life that is busy and loud.
